Mitsubishi Electric to Launch 7.0-inch WXGA Color TFT-LCD Module
October 9, 2018
Operation and storage are possible at temperatures between -40°C to +80°C, so that neither heat nor frost affect the performance of the displays. A brightness of 1000 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 allow good readability even in bright ambient light. The LED backlight is specified with 100.000 hours. This corresponds to a time span of more than 11 years until reaching half the brightness. Depending on the method of attachment the rugged displays can resist vibrations up to 6.8 G. These features are rounded off by a particularly wide viewing angle of 176° degrees (horizontal/vertical) and a long-term availability of up to 10 years. An anti-reflective surface prevents reflections. On customer request the new modules are available with an integrated PCAP touchscreen, allowing control with up to ten fingers simultaneously. In addition, the protection of the new modules against external influences and dirt can be increased by the optical bonding process of Fortec Integrated. A reduced refraction of light VacuBond® also achieves an improved readability of the displayed content. The new modules AA070TA01 and AA070TA11 as well as the corresponding versions with integrated PCAP touchscreen AA070TA01ADA11 and AA070TA11ADA11 will be available from the 1st quarter in 2019 at Fortec Integrated.
